Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q.1: My child has a conflict with another sport and can attend futsal only once a week. Can I register for the 3-month program and actually attend for 6 months? Or pay for once a week only?

A.1: When the Skilsinho Futsal Program was launched, it was supposed to be once a week. However, we decided to expand it to twice a week but the cost of the second hour has been on us. We have not added the second hour to our program fees. Some players can take advantage of it by joining us twice a week but others can't. Therefore, players that can join us only once a week are not paying more than the ones that can join us twice a week. There are weeks that players are available on both days and they are allowed to join both training sessions.

Q.2: If I register my child in the 3-month plan, does it mean he/she has 24 sessions within a year to attend or within the 3-month period only?

A.2: The players registered on the 3-month plan will have a period of 3 months (~ 90 days) to attend the sessions which is approximately 24 sessions. However, our program is not session based because there will be no value to the players if they attend 24 sessions in 6 or 8 months.

Q.3: Is there a make-up class for missed sessions?

A.3: There is no make-up classes for sessions missed by the players. However, if a session is cancelled by the futsal academy for any reason, all registrations are extended to compensate the number of cancelled sessions.

Q.4: Can my child try a session first before committing with the program?

A.4: Absolutely. We always recommend parents to bring their children for a session before committing with the program. Please, get in contact with us to schedule a trial.

Q.5: Is your futsal program year-round or seasonal?

A.5: Our futsal program is "year-round". However, we run the program from mid-January to mid-June (5 months), pause for 2 months due to summer break, return from mid-August to mid-December (4 months) and then pause again for 1 month due to winter holidays. Officially, we run the program for 9 months and pause for 3 months. All ongoing registrations impacted by the breaks are extended from the time the program returns for the players to use the remaining weeks/months left before the break.

Q.6: Does the program start on a specific date throughout the year, or can players begin whenever?

A.6: If there is availability, players can start right after they are registered into the program.

Q.7: Do I have the option to pay for the program on a monthly basis?

A.7: Our focus is on expediting players' development through futsal. That's the reason we don't have the monthly option and ask parents to commit at least with the 3-month program. However, we are flexible enough to make it possible for parents that can't afford a 3-month plan upfront. We also work with checks and Venmo.

Q.8: Do I need to pay for the uniform?

A.8: No, we give it for free as part of the first registration only. If an extra kit (jersey, shorts and socks) is needed, we charge $75 replacement fee.
